Lumpia Shanghai. These are Filipino spring rolls filled with pork, served with sweet and sour sauce on the side. These delicious and crispy rolls can be eaten anytime: breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Tosilog. This dish is made of tocino (a sweetened, Filipino version of slab bacon) served on garlic rice with a fried egg. It tasted great; the egg wasn't overcooked, the rice had a pleasant, non-overpowering garlic flavour which complemented the tocino. People typically add spicy Filipino vinegar to this dish to balance the tocino's sweetness and saltiness with the vinegar's sourness and spiciness.
Longsilog. This is exactly the same dish as above, but the tocino was replaced with longganisa, a sweet Filipino sausage comparable to Spanish chorizo or Portuguese linguiça. The longganisa was delicious and soft, unlike many others which have the tendency to be tough and overcooked. Just like the tosilog, this dish is typically served with spicy Filipino vinegar.
Having said all this, please don't make generalizations about Jesse Jr.'s food based on their breakfast dishes. Their breakfast dishes may be pretty good, but the rest of their food is just mediocre, at best.
CORA BREAKFAST AND LUNCH

Cora's Special. Not the most exciting breakfast dish, but the eggs, bacon, potatoes, ham, and pancake were not burnt (a mistake many breakfast places make), and the fruits were fresh.
Eggs Ben et Dictine (Eggs Benedict) with Brie and Mushrooms. You can have this dish four ways: with brie and mushrooms, ham, smoked salmon, or with asparagus. This dish was great for two reasons: because the eggs were poached perfectly, and because the hollandaise sauce was smooth. The fruits on the side did not match the dish; they were extraneous. Having said that, they didn't ruin the dish, they were just unnecessary additions.
April 89. This crêpe is filled with fruits including pineapple slices, grapes, cantaloupe chunks, strawberries, kiwi slices, honeydew chunks, and apple slices. The inside of the crêpe was covered in Nutella. (Almost) anything with Nutella is good, and because of that postulate, the crêpe was really good. The puffs of whipped cream on top balanced the thickness of the Nutella and the sourness of the fruits very well.
