I love the fact that Moonbean features different artists' work and
photography. When I went to Moonbean last week, the featured artist was
"hocusfocuspix". Here's their blog's link: http://hocusfocuspix.blogspot.ca/

Moonbean looks small from the outside, but it is actually very spacious; there's a back room and a back patio.

I apologize in advance for the coffee reviews... I took the descriptions right out of Moonbean's website, since I didn't actually get to taste the coffee. My dad and aunt had them. I don't drink coffee (yet).
"The coffee has a nice floral fragrance with a rich body and a slight
flavour of dark chocolate and a long finish. Great taste using the filter
method as well as pour over and chemex. Roasted in the range of medium
to capture all the subtle nuances."
"The coffee produced has a very low acidity, with a vibrant rich taste, full body and earthy deep tones."
Blueberry Italian Soda. This is the drink I got to taste myself. I've been to Moonbean many times; I love their milkshakes, fruit smoothies, and hot chocolate drinks, but I did not enjoy this Italian soda.
The blueberry flavour did not seem to mix well with the soda itself; it seemed as if I was drinking plain soda water with a strange cough syrup after taste. The sprig of mint didn't add much flavour. They have a huge array of great beverages, but I certainly would not recommend this one.

Though this visit to Moonbean wasn't my favourite one, I still strongly encourage you to visit this place! Other than the St. Lawrence Market, I can confidently say that this place serves the best coffee, tea, and other non-alcoholic beverages in Toronto! Although my experience with the Italian soda was mildly dreadful, it was just one tiny slip-up on Moonbean's part. Their other drinks are awesome. :)
